The above mentioned Governing body for the tenure 2012-2013 was elected uncontested, as on the day of final selection of nomination paper on 9th October 2012 as per the election schedule, only 1 nomination paper was found to have been submitted in each post.The election presiding officer Mr.AFM Zahid Iqbal, Upazila Education Officer declared the election result accordingly and by his letter ,being memo no. 514 dated 09.10.2012 informed the same to the Upazila Nirbahi Office,Gazaria for onward information to the Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board,Dhaka for approval, which was approved accordingly.
But as the Chairman of the Governing body has to be nominated by the honorable Member of Parliament from among the elites of the locality, the name of the immediate past Chairman of the Executive Committee Squadron Leader AKM Akhteruzzaman was sent to the honorable MP Mr Idrish Ali.
